I use the same one, decent for the money, mine is still going strong after years of abuse.

I just buy the silver line 18mm snap off ones...they are excellent when you need a longer blade. I buy them in a box of 36 and I get thro them in no time...I have no idea what happens to them all!

Like the look of that bosch...going to keep an eye on the amazon price. The camel camel tracker says they often go down to £13 so I'll see if I can swoop in and buy a couple at the lower price if I can.

Prefer the retractable but the folding do the job

Having to unfold a knife is a pita when it's used many times a day

I do need a new flip one my one is pants the blade falls out all the time! anyway I am still healing from my drunken masacure last week with my dolpin knife and new blade! across the thumb down to the vein not nice seeing the vein ouzing blood anyway some blue roll and leccie tape all ixed from the mrs!

On the subject of Stanley’s what blades are you using Iv been using Stanley carbide and really like them they last ages and are proper sharp

I liked the carbide but found it chipped too easy

I'm a bit of a cheapskate, I've found this Lidl folding knife good enough for my current needs.



When I was working I had an older model retracting Stanley knife in my toolbox - ideal for cutting old conveyor belt rubber to line the wear areas on chutes. Not too sure if the LIdl job would stand up to that kind of treatment. As for modern blades . . .
