Could use a trim bit and rout the edge flush...personally I'd leave it a few months for it to find it's natural position.
My mate calls those banana timbers "boat wood" ...a well known DIY store seems to specialise in the stuff!

The new, super cheap CLS from Selco is like that. You really have to sift through the lengths.

I think they are already pretty "juicy". They were new quite recently and the really bad warp was because some idiot took it out from under cover and left it in the sun. Ultimately they were cheap enough for me to risk since they are definitely strong enough and at £7 each, I won't lose sleep over one or two fails. Even if one splits in half when I nail it down, I can just order up another. Not at bargain basement prices but it won't break the bank and it's an unlikely scenario.
I may not fit a handrail. Not a permanent one anyway. I like living on the edge... I might do a temporary or removable, fold up thing for when I have a visitor.
I do have a full length steel regular railing stored somewhere but it's too heavy for me to move and looks pants. I might do something interesting with scaffold poles, I have collected a fair few and have a couple I could cut down to 4m. Also have a ton of rebar (lit probably two tons!) and a fair bit of super long 6 or 8mm rod. Come to think of it, I have a fair bit of chain I could do something with but like I said, I like the open platform and I am loving the new workbench!

Probably a couple of semi permanent end posts (decorative scaff poles??) and a couple of long scaff poles if/when required. I am hosting my ex and a six year old later this year so I will need something. I will also need to tidy up! Another option might be sections of rebar that fit into sockets mounted on the posts.
It just needs to be something sensible. I'm less worried about regulations (I have issues with authority).

Trimmed all the edges with a hand plane and rounded over the top with power sander. This wood is as soft as anything, I think a router would tear right through it. It does make an excellent workbench though!
Raided the back of the shed for some preservative.
...and there was just enough to do all the ends, edges and faces.
Big mistake when I clamped them up to save on spillage. I thought, "ohh, I know, I can clamp them up tight to straighten them out".
Which is true but they flattened out with a massive bang. One of them has split in half! Might be ok because it will be split underneath (there is no strength at all along the grain) so if it's not right through the top, I'll run with it.
i think (can't be sure) that I might have been able to get rid of some of the massive banana curvature. They look pretty straight to me or at least, they're all equally bent...
Find out later. Just left them under a blanket to keep the sun off and need to go grab some deck screws.
<edit> looks like I didn't take a picture of the "straightened" set. When they were all clamped up quite lightly, I banged the ends down with a mallet and **I think** they're all the same sort of straight now.

Taped off the top of the structure with DPM tape.
All boards are done. Solid as a rock.
Screwed down with 6mm "T`urbo TX" <blah>
Nice screws to be fair. I did pre drill the very corner screws just in case but they go in, flush and self countersink like a dream.
Just need to hose it down with some waterproof sealer and break out the deckchair...
I'll have a think about what to do regards railing and yes, it will probably be something trick because why not.
Meanwhile I do have a couple of doors to do for a neighbour removing catflaps and this will be perfect for a job like that. I hate working off of trestles.

You'll need something at one end as well as along the length.
Maybe securely fixed, solid returns each end then hinged "gates"...concertina style?
