Lots are, possible far more than in the past as it's only a ten minute job with a puter. My lad knows someone that has brand new cars on low mileage leases, does 3-4k miles a month, clocks it before a service/ goes back

Picked up a telegraph pole with these insulators on the end! Don't know what to do with them yet, but i just liked them, especially the colour. They have a date of 1948 on them.

Got my mits on this:

8 X 486/Pentium 1 computers.

4 X 12” monitors.

2 key boards and 2 mice.

They all work, Windows 3.1 and Windows 3.0. In one case was the 20 or so Floppy disc and the 6 DOS Discs.


The computers are no good, who needs a WIN 3.0 machine.

But they have the last decent PSU in them. The ones what have replaceable fuses inside. One even has a reset button.

5 of them are 500w outputs, they have the 240vac kettle output to power the Display. Plus a lot of 12v, 5v 3.3v outputs.

The last 3 are 250w outputs PSU. They will need a jumper fitted on the plug to let the PSU is connected to a Mother Board, quick link.

I think they will not need a “Power Good” signal. Just a 10ohm resistor, got a few of them.


Plus a decent wooden create as well.


I want a decent PSU for Electrolytic Rust Removal tanks set ups.

Only the cost of my fuel for a 20 mile round trip.

My local popundland is selling the Agfa vista film for a pound a go they are dated until 10/2018 got one and used it last months not bad results

I use it for testing cameras, plus when it's in a brick of 10 and you pay £1 it would be rude not to....

Went up to Telford today to collect this:



The plan was to use it as a base for a small gantry type cnc mill (it's 26" square and rotates 360 degrees).
However after looking at it I think I'm going to use it as my welding bench and use the big bed plate I've been using as a bench for the cnc base.
I think it will be really handy being able to rotate a part being welded without having to unclamp it.

Bargain at £75 even taking into account the diesel cost.
