Two regulators one after the other is belt and braces plus another belt for certain, won't do much for the flow rate though.

Some steel! 3x 10mm x100mm bar, 2 0f 2.5m lengths and one about 1.5m, 1x 8mm x 60mm about 1m and 1x 6mm x 60mm angle about 1m. All at the best price.. Free!

At the site I was working the guys building the loading ramps had slung em in the skip as scrap, so a quick word with them to make sure they were definitely scrap and another word with the site manager to get permission to take em, chucked em in my car and brought em home. Result!!

I have absolutely no idea what I am going to use it for as my little welder will have no chance of welding it and I don't have a press for bending it...

Canon EF (FD lens mount and only canon camera ever to use a 3rd party Copal shutter)
50mm f1.4 ssc lens
70-210 constant f4 zoom

I had an EF before and neglected it, this one will be used but not thrown about like the last one

Nice! I've got an AV1 and an AE1P (the latter is my workhorse). Shoots great, got some Cokin filters cheap online to play with. I'm thinking of upgrading to digital as film is destroying my wallet, but I realised when I went into the shop the other day that I have no idea about digital!

I don't have an AE1P in my A series collection......
I mostly use my DSLR for testing lenses and stuff, only problem with the new kit is the 55mm threads so I've ordered a hood from China and I need to see what filters I have in that size

Following the camera theme, after my last camera jumped off the lathe onto the floor I decided it was time to get a decent smallish digital camera. The kids are growing up fast, parents in their twilight years and we are getting a new dog so worth spending a bit of dosh on memories. But my Yorkshireness won't let me spend too much so bought a new old stock Olympus OM-D M5 Mk1 body and a second hand but mint 12-40mm constant f2.8 lens. No pop-up flash so bought a Nissin i40 so skint but happy with the camera. Pint of homebrew for scale

The wife has a Panasonic GM1 micro four-thirds so I can pinch her telephoto and pancake lenses. She also has a full frame Canon DSLR but finds it too big to lug around with all the kids stuff. The GM1 is nice but a bit too small for my hands and I think the Olympus has better stabilisation.

Best bit about a dslr with a weighty lens is using it for "accidental" crowd control when it's slung over a shoulder, annoying kids and adults keep away after a whack with the lens hood...

Erm, yes, you caught me out on that one :ashamed:

I had a tour of the brewery near Lancaster a while ago. I do have a few Timothy Taylor and Bridestone brewery glasses that are definitely Yorkshire

It's a fantastic camera, it's basically just an AE1 body except some of the places of things are moved about, and it's got a bigger grip for the battery to power the electronics on board. I think it's the first one you can set to 'Program' and it'll automatically select the best aperture, shutter speed etc. You can also do it all manually. One of the best accessories I've got is the humble rubber surround for the viewfinder - makes it so much easier on the head taking a picture!

The A1 has program, but I don't tend to use it, or my other A series cameras, I bought the EF as I like the metal shutter and it's a bit more compact than any of the A's

Having said that I am putting a kit together so will probably have colour film in the A1 and b&w in the EF so I don't have "that needs colour/b&w" when I have the other loaded

I have two Olympus OM10 35mm Cameras. As above one is loaded with B&W the other is loaded with colour ASA 400.
They get used primarily now for my big builds, restorations and when I go to shows.
In other words when I am not in a rush to see the pictures.
I am old fashioned to think they give a better picture. One nod to the digital age, when I get the 35mm films developed I always get a CD as well as the negatives.

I do have digital camera, a nice pocket size Samsung unit. Great for taking quick images and anything I want to up load to the net.

Few days ago I acquired some old computers, only for the decent PSU.

Here is one of the 250watt units "jury rigged" to operate a de-rusting tank. The white washing up bowl and a +12volt output.

The coffee jar to the left is using the 3.3v output to "copper plate" a spoon. Not bad.

I was right the 250watt PSU does need a jumper to trick the PSU into thinking it is attached to a Mother board.

Now I have a working mock up, time to alter the wiring and crimp up some correct plugs and wires.
