There is going to be all sorts of good things either going in that skip soon, or went in the last one.. You did ask about anything else, didnt you?
What a fantastic haul!!
Always fancied a leg vice, just to say I’d got one really. Not sure what use they are. But again, what a fantastic haul!!
Or you could give them to me.
I can make a big tank.
be careful with the big leg vice.
i have one about that size, and the handle delights in trapping fingers.
since the handle alone weighs a good 4-5kgs, it does some serious damage.
I used one for hot rasping the heels of the horseshoes I was making...lots of years ago. They are really quick as its a coarse thread and a long lever to close them. You can often just give it a nudge with the side of your knee. What a fantastic haul!!

Is that a combined T&C/surface grinder? Looks like the wheel is directly on the motor shaft.
Side note: Passed your workshop yesterday around 0930-1000, gave you a few pips on the horn saw a van parked round there.I used one for hot rasping the heels of the horseshoes I was making...lots of years ago. It's been a bit quite on the buying front. However I was pleased to find this on eBay.

I love this style of knurling tool.
I'm in quarantine I'm afraid. The van would have been my mate who's just started a vapour blasting business and bike rebuilding across the yard.Side note: Passed your workshop yesterday around 0930-1000, gave you a few pips on the horn saw a van parked round there.

This is a post to say:
"UP yours, you doubting Tomas/Tina.
Should we ask who that's aimed at, or leave sleeping bears alone? Maybe better the latter....
Are those your beer goggles, frosted lenses an' all?
It was my father's funeral yesterday so I had a mooch around his garden before we came back from Yorkshire, thought I would bring his 'boot scraper' back with me.

Needs a new hard wood block to retain the blade. Obviously one of the track shoes (?) no doubt from the disused railway that ran along the back of our garden.
The was a couple of very short lengths of rail too.

The top one was used as a weight for all sorts, stabilising the Christmas Tree, as a weight when my mother was pressing tongue (that sounds so wrong ) or brawn, it had many uses.
The second bit, lower left in picture, I don't think I have seen before. Anyone know what this profile would have been used for?
