What an incredible haul. I paid double what I was expecting but now realise it's a massive bargain.
Christmas has come early! And no I am not selling any of it yet. Poor old chap who had passed away. And yes I will treasure all of it as he did.

I have one of those foot switches. They are pretty good. Screwed mine to a small sheet of ply. I use it for my Rage 2 chopsaw. Trigger won't latch so cable tied it on and use the footswitch. Much better!

It was you! I'd just finished reading the Lathes.co.uk article and persuading myself I had the space when the listing had gone.

It was an odd coincidence really.
I decided to leave it alone.
Then one of our regular customers asked us to collect a Jones and Shipman 1400 surface grinder.
I phoned the collection point to make sure it was palletised properly. He mentioned he had a much older machine in good condition. Persuaded me to buy it off him!

Well yesterday really. A pair of boots in my size in Lidl's 'reduced' cage, £9.99!

Can't go wrong with that, I'm going to wear them indoors for a full day to see if they're as comfy as they appear - if not I'll take them back for a refund, win:win
