Had a bit of a bargain purchase at an auction, they described the lot badly so no real interest in it. first off a Starret height gauge, a Moore & Wright 12" depth Mic, a M&W 903 Bore Mic, a Starret 236 0-25 Mic , a set 3 M&W bore gauges, M&W hole gauges d,e,f,g, a Mercer bore gauge, A Verdict DTI , a Mitutoyo dial indicator, a couple more M&W mic's one imp and one metric, plus chucks arbours, pin vices, and a load of small bits and pieces. Anyone know where I can get fibreglass sleeving, 6-10mm ID?

Pure fibeglass or the siliconised version? Look in commercial kitchen catering supplies places (e.g. search for 'catering spares'). An old electric oven will have some in, but maybe not of that diameter.

Get seen asap - I'm no doctor, but if you have long periods at low oxygen levels I believe that's what can damage other bits of you.

I've bought a good pulse oximeter for that very reason, having people indoors with asthma and COPD. If someone does get sick and the NHS is only coming to the worst cases I'd like to have something to sway their decision in my favour.

Managed to bid on and win a like new Tecarc c181 mig with 2 bottles of boc argon, 1 bottle boc argon shield, a pair of gloves and a cheap auto helmet for £370.

PU glue. Far cheaper than Gorilla glue, about 10 quid for 750ml whereas you get a tiny bottle of original Gorilla for that. Quicker setting too so I can do a few glue ups per day.

Be careful using it Andy it's not quicker setting, it's slower than GG. It foams much faster but strength takes longer. I got a bottle on recommendation and ruined a few things before I got the hang of it. It's also much less viscous as well, like warm runny honey.

Yep that's how I use it (and any PU really) and it's the same as all the other PUs in that respect. It's just not fast at achieving strength.

I'm not saying it doesn't work or is an inferior product, just that the blurb gives you a sense that you can manipulate things you've glued up quickly. You can't, they fall to pieces and you have to wait for a much stronger cure.

A new tent, have always enjoyed the outdoors and hiking and two or so years ago started wild camping as well. We have now reached the point where we wanted a better tent than the £50 gelert we had been using. So after selling some bits and pieces we now have a "proper" tent. MSR Elixir 3, put it up in the dining room in about 5 minutes, incredible amount of space for a tent that only weighs 2.6kg (our gelert was smaller than this and weighed 4.2kg!!). Also the first tent where I can lie flat on my back fully stretched without touching the tent walls, as you can see I am very happy . Last pic is a stock photo.

Thanks for the info. I always give glue more clamp time than stated so on this job I should have been OK, especially as its a large glue area and not particularly stressed. But the next job may be more taxing so good to know. It is easier to apply, the gorilla glue give you a hernia squeezing it out of the bottle even with the nozzle fully open

The bottle is a really nice design with the wee holder for the cap and decent plastic. I was over the moon with the bottle not being like GG's, I get knacking hons after using theirs for a day.

I'm thinking I'll try one of the Everbuild Lumberjacks next to get something closer to GG but looking at them they all seem to be much the same as the Soudal 45.

Is it as bad for setting in the pot. Ive not needed to use any for a while. I remember when I first used it circa ‘90, you’d go to use it next day and it was rock hard.
