Ok mate the photos confused me then. Lol. I am interested in the lunchbox photo now.lol
This arrived from @northwest , put a cable on it, bit of a biff and a wipe down, it is so smooth you can hardly hear it! nice rohm chuck as well - super handy

Today I acquired this
A new lathe
I know it's gone sideways, uploading photos has been fine all weekend but now everything has rotated
A massive thanks to @pete for bringing it up to me today (all masked up and covid safe) and giving me a quick rundown on it before the snow got really bad and he had to go.
I've had a little play and love it!
It's too cold now so time to warn up.

Nice to meet you mate. Sorry I couldn't stay any longer but that snow was crazy. I drove down a pleasantly quiet lane making way for smiling dog-walkers and people out for a stroll, then an hour later had to creep at walking pace through the arctic circle!
Mind you, I was better off than this guy, who I had to stop and take a snap of
