I've unacquired these today.
Quality is poor compared to the 'old' Moore and Wright or Mitutoyo etc so i've sent them back.

Nothing wrong with them 'as such'. I held a Mitutoyo in one hand and one of these G clamps in the other hand last night and the build quality is terrible in comparison. M&W is quite gritty, and very slightly sloppy. Rubbish quality box - I know it doesnt affect how they work, but look at an old school M&W box and they have lovely dovetails - these are junk thin timber glue guned together. It annoyed me to be honest. They wouldn't be a tool I enjoyed using.

Remember my Dad having one of these in a drawer in his workshop, I never knew what it was - I always used it as a walki-talkie. ( I was only 6 or so.......)

Terribly sorry haha. Mines only a sheet of steel. Stainless is expensive and I’m cheap haha.Stainless steel food prep table, it's going to get dismantled and turned into a work bench

It's @KimB fault, I have a workbench with a steel top but after watching her video on the ring roller it got me wanting a stainless steel worktop

Future induction coils. I am amazed they survived the post with no kinks or damage as they were loose in a bag.
3 quid quick disconnect for the mig.
4" touch screen I think this one will go by lathe if I ever manage to get some programing done, I seem to be avoiding it.
I was sceptical a 4 quid screen would be any good as the other options I was looking at were 25. The controller chip is well hidde so I dont know if I will be able to program it if the listing is wrong, but its worth the risk ordered the last one. Price has now gone upto £15, which is still good!
Amazon seem to do this, occasionally have good products well below normal price. Returns? Doesnt look like it. Old stock that wasnt selling?

Hole saws are actually good if you know how to use properly ,I've cut hole with them on 16mm plates , but once used by my family company they destroyed them

Went to the ironmongery this morning for key duplicates and pop rivets .
I've just stepped into the shop and my ex boss (shop owner) said me , that's for you .
It's a general catalogue from Beta Utensili SPA (Beta tools)
874 pages of tools codes and prices.
Those are not meant to be given to the public but only to retailers .
When I've worked with them those were bought for 73 Euros+ VAT (22% in Italy)
It's probably a way to make me buy something really expensive (I usually buy something every month but not so expensive )
It's a good gift for me

Yes they do seem quite good, I actually bought them expecting them to be disposable as they were only £9.99, but they may well last a while.

A few brass items was donated to me today.
All in need of TLC.
But thanks to a kind member here I have the tools to fix them.
Again TY. The fudge is gone.
This oil syringe has no washers. on the end caps and the shaft washer are gone.
But it does move.
Plant Sprayer.
With extension lance
It doesn't do anything. The handle is jammed. If it was steel I would expect rust. But this is brass.
I think the leather has swollen.
The best of the lot. Complete, free put does not work.
But stamped into the body is a Broad arrow and a date of June 1939. Plus ARW.
Air Raid Warden.
A bit of googling and a mad dive up to the attic. into a few books.
This sort of item was re-purposed into crude fire fire fighting equipment. There would of been a metal bucket, with a 1/2 pint glass container of fire fighting additive.
I am thinki8ng a hunt is now on.

Just in case you are in need of some inspiration, perhaps have a look at "The Brass and Woodwind Shop" on YT. The tools and techniques he uses seem very applicable to these.

I went to lidl and got two pairs of their work trousers as they have knee pad pockets, and some steaks, tho I did say I would stop buying from the germans. One of the trousers have to go back, 36" waist is fine, its a size bigger than I need anyway, but the upper legs are about 5 sizes too small!
The knee pockets are rubbish too small, had to trim the pads to get them in
I got the second 4" LCD and quick disconnect. Amazon thought it would be clever to pack the QD against the glass screen in a thin cardboard. Posted back and recieved the refund already. Now price has gone up
