a chrome plated hand tool marked " Monodex " ; it appears to be a nipper tool, but for what ?

I have one of these, still in the box with a spare blade. I think the instructions are in there too. I can scan them if they are in there and you would like them? I will have a look when I go to the workshop later today.

I tried it out on a piece of scrap copper plate just now. It makes about a 2mm wide cut.

The Monodex is for cutting thin sheet metal. Straight lines or curves.

Blades break very easily.....don’t ask how I know...

Yes it is, but I will admit I have never used it in the 20 years I have owned it! It was my fathers and by the looks of it, he didn't use it either.....

More a "this afternoon I'm acquiring":

Lengths upon lengths of 25x25 box. It's old server racking came from a bank. I'm getting the racks it's stored on too.

I posted elsewhere about maybe building a greenhouse with it and also a garden arbor. First project methinks is a frame for my rotary converter project.

Still looking for "how to" suggestions ref the greenhouse. Got loads of glass too.

The GF was one of the top people involved with them sausages going into production. Not a vegan or veggie myself but I was surprised at how 'meaty' they are.

To be honest that looks very similar to snap on ones of that age. Even the handles and catches.
