Well I aquired this last year but because of lockdowns it was out of reach until now.
Wish my trailer was ready. Far too tall for the Sprinter van so palletised it nicely and shipping through one of our pallet networks Monday.

The torque in these is wicked! I’ve known people be thrown across the room trying to hold onto a job. When I sold my Denbigh the new owner contacted me to say how great it was, that it never stalled under load and just kept drilling, on a 2hp single phase motor! Can’t get that from a Fobco or a Meddings…

Got my hands on an old projector, would have been great while I was at uni, not a whole lot of use to me now. Oh well.
4400 lumen, I think it's more for conferences/classrooms than home theater but it should be good enough for me. Seems like quite a posh one, it automatically squares up the image if it's at an angle to the screen. On a white image you can see some weird coloured borders, the picture makes it look an awful lot worse than it does stood in front of it.
Not sure if it's because its old and knackered (maybe that's why it was thrown out) or if it's repairable, a very quick search online suggests it might just need a clean, I'm skeptical though. I watched a film and didn't actually notice it so maybe I should just leave it alone. 0 hours lamp life apparently, I assume it's been reset rather than it's got a brand new lamp in it.

When these were all the rage I seem to remember the image quality really varied depending what you beamed it on to, so it may be worth trying a few different surfaces
Perhaps the bulb is on a countdown timer, no hours left and living on borrowed time!

Got this yesterday.
Almost brand new, just missing a few of the smaller bits.
This jewellers saw is dirty and the wrong blade, It has a adapted Fret saw blade in it.

It has a Morse taper spindle (note slots for ejector drift) with a Jacobs chuck on an arbor in it.

Mine had a different, marginally bigger Jacobs chuck which I held back when I sold it. Think it holds up to 15mm or so. Have you never wanted to drill a 2mm hole with so much torque it could pull the moon out of orbit?
I was drilling 6” gate posts with mine, no pilot hole, 1 1/4” holes, the spade bit sunk through them like a hot knife through butter
Yes I know that but it looks a pretty small morse taper but haven't checked properly yet. Such a small quill though on such a huge drill.

The Denbigh only has an mt2, same as a Myford, and they’re not comparable in build quality that’s for sure! I expected at least mt3.
