An adapted tailgate for my split screen,always preferred the earlier small window,yet like the large access afforded by the late ones,so got an early tailgate for peanuts off eBay,then got a body shop to weld it into mine,a friend painted it as a swap for the GP surgery dispensary box I made(again featured on these pages,not half an hour ago).

Probably the usual - some get tips and don't share them, and the ones who work just as hard don't get tipped.
Always ends up with an argument, and best avoided by paying people a decent wage in the first place, but I doubt TP are really doing that.

Just how it is, could be taken by whoever is looking at the cameras as a backhander for something they haven't seen. Could cause a lot of hassle, just not worth accepting it for the FLT driver. If something goes missing, stock-count is wrong and he is seen accepting your money he will be under suspicion. A word of thanks is always welcome.

All sorts, for instance checking/measuring tapers. Two different sized balls and a method of measuring how far down the hole they each are

They would of been used for measuring tapers where they came from, as Pete says. You depth mike the gauge ball at the bottom of the taper then depth mike a bigger gauge ball at the mouth of the taper.
