Today I acquired...........

A bodum stovetop espresso maker.
Bought to go in my camping gear, but the coffee is *SOOOO* much better than made in the cafetiere I think it'll stay in the kitchen.

Paid a quid for it, at the car boot sale.
£100!!! on bodum's website. (Or 50ish on the bay).

The only way to drink coffee I hate those cafatiere things. They always bypass round the spring and you get bits in your coffee!
Discovered Bialetti in Italy and never looked back. A quid - that’s a steal!!!

I don't mind the odd coffee ground.
I usually end up with bits in my cup, anyway

I've an Italian coffee machine in stainless.

Every morning it jumps on the gas, and I only drink one huge mug of rocket fuel, after that its tea, or I start singing.

I see those quite regularly at the CBS - I thought they were just a posh tea-pot. :-|

You can buy new seals and filters for notalot so worth picking one up if they are cheap.

I picked up a large metal cabinet on Monday, out of the same skip that I got the tool box that I posted earlier. I wasn't going to take it, because it's only got one door, and while it has three shelves it only had six of the special metal things to hold them in place, so only enough for one shelf. Anyway, I decided on the way to the pub on Sunday night that if it was still there Monday, I'd grab it. It was, so I did, and I've spent an hour this afternoon making some shelf clips out of a piece of old 2mm steel that I had lying around. The lack of a door isn't an issue, I'm just thinking of it as a shelf unit for now.
