It's an angry grinder with a planer blade?
Could do with something like that for cleaning up scaff boards before running them through the thicknesser

4 blades. Two on the bottom 2 on the side covered by flaps. Can get right into a 90 degree angle
More like a fly cutter than a planer on the flat
Depth adjustment for lower blades is 0 to 0.3mm no adjustment for side blades
Can see me using it for more than paint removal too.
Never seen em before yesterday.
Really handy for Window restoration work

The two combined are a good combo
About a minute to de varnish the bulk of the table. Needs a gentle sanding now

I was thinking "planer blade" for a radial arm saw.
I think they were marketed as "safety planers"?
Like a spinny surform blade.

FFX may not always be the cheapest, but I've never been able to fault them either. I've ordered a few bits from them.

Yup. Me too. There's a nack to the thing but leaves a reasonable finish with practice. Still need a tickle with scratch but saves a lot of time
I've got a gate to strip Tuesday so will have a proper test
Also have 4 sets of French doors to renovate soon and a big bungalow to strip and paint facias and soffits. Will pay for itself many times over
