Got these for the cost of postage, just wondering how to clean the wood without losing the character.
I’ve got a very old bottle of furniture restorer from tool station. It works a treat to clean stuff like this without damaging the Polish. Meths, turps, white spirt etc will strip the surface to the wood.Got these for the cost of postage, just wondering how to clean the wood without losing the character.

No name on it. I found it on marketplace for £50 looks unused. I put it on an old trailer wheel nut with a 6ft pipe over the handle and it didn't bend or break. What brand is that?
Absolute steal! I sold a pair of them years ago, a bit rusty, paint flaking off the body so not the best condition, I think they went for about £120 each!

In part payment for money owed.
better than nothing and I was going to buy a laptop for truck / workshop use anyway.
Pretty impressed with it to be honest. It does all I need and a little bit more

Zero it against the flat of a parallel or against a new high speed steel lathe bit, both of which should have ground surfaces. The rods have dead stops on them, so setting the 0">1" rod should give you an accurate reading across the board, unless there is damaged to rods in the set.A Starrett depth mic

............................ How are you supposed to check it's reading accurately without a standard? I'd check it against my height master if I had a surface plate.
Only need to calibrate it on zero-25 setting. The other lengths are basically standards in themselvesA Starrett depth mic

Missing the 25-50mm bar but other than that it appears to be in very good nick, don't think it's ever been used. Having said that, the thimble doesn't feel as nice as a Mitutoyo mic. How are you supposed to check it's reading accurately without a standard? I'd check it against my height master if I had a surface plate.
Sweet !!! Has it got any software installed?Tis
Panasonic Toughbook. The CF-19 one. It’s the model I wanted as it’s police issue in most of the UK and having seen what they get up to with them that’s a good test
you can fold it round like a tablet:
