Wurth do an excellent black superglue type adhesive specifically for glueing grips on I believe. Used to use it putting them on yamaha quads when I worked for the local dealer. Got to be bloody quick putting them on though or they end up stuck half way..!

Spray paint works well also.
Wet as lube to get it on then goes off and sticks the glue to the bars.

Also the double-sided tape used when re-gripping golf clubs. Done quite a few sets in the past and you've got to be positive when sliding the new grips on.

Dad got some knackered old truck wheels so I chopped the tyres off this afternoon, I think they’d make good coffe tables or maybe just wall art. Still need to brave the bead rings though.

Not today but already brought home on Wednesday evening after 600km drive in pretty busy traffic:

After the purchase realized that the machine is much too well preserved to put it in the intended place in the workshop in the barn.
It should get a place in our house, which has triggered a series of unplanned actions, so for now only pictures from before the purchase.

It's a pretty much Germanized ML7 - A quite active importer it must have been back then (still exists today, by the way [with the same phone number]).
But no Myford anymore

The serial number puts the machine somewhere in 1974-75, here in the country probably later rather than early.
On the completely translated (not always good) manual a handwritten price: DM 4.950,00 !!!!

Here for comparison what cars cost in 1975 in Germany:

While we are on the subject of Myford: I am currently looking for a small lathe with a draw and lead spindle, as I want to be able to cut threads in metric and imperial, the more the better. :artist: I can now buy a Myford ML7 with change gears. I'm sure these things are a dime a dozen with you...

Slim pickings this week, IOW was bare of good things, even my little shop where I can find Mamods was almost empty.,

Yes another Dig Camera.
The one I got the other week, I am having some fun finding a USB lead to fit and a battery charger.

I have noticed that in some High Street Charity shops that semi decent Dig cameras are retailing for as low as £5.
At that price they are almost throw away item.
