I prefer to drive older cars, this week I’m using one while I’m helping a mate put up a car port.

A very nice elderly lady looked at me working when she was walking to the shops. On the way back she asked if I’d like some old tools that had been cluttering up her garage for many years.
A Bradbury jack, sturdy axle stands and a canvas bag of mixed spanner’s will all be put to good use !

Karma likes me, for the past month I’ve been touring Wales area and doing a few odd jobs when I’ve been visiting friends.
Next question - what do I need to know about Bradbury jacks (I already know it’s a very nice piece of kit !)
I’ll be getting her a small thank-you next time I’m at the shops.

Hyundai 2 stroke multi-tool. Longreach hedgecutter, brushcutter, strimmer & polesaw.

Also gave the Makita 4 stroke backpack blower its first run today. Good bit of kit. Filler neck is a nice design. Angled, so that you can easily fill it even from a 20L can. Prefer it over the Stihl.

If it's a 3rd gen I think one of the Land Cruiser screens fit but can't remember what one
And if National Windscreens fit it,
1, check your aerial isn't now snapped.
2, road test it to make sure there's not a gail blowing though the base of the screen where the monkey that fitted it didn't seal it properly first time round...

After waiting about 10 years, i have acquired my uncle's Disco 2. He'd owned her from new, imported from the Netherlands in August 2000. She needs a good wash and a little TLC to get her through an MOT. Other than some welding and mechanical work she's going to stay as she is.

She's been named Daisy and is (apparently) finished in Aspen Arb Blue?



Good ol' Katie the Sprinter towing her home. Did get stuck on the farm track after losing traction, but no drama.

Dunno actually. I didn't name her, but i do generally name my vehicles. (The Van's Katie J because the numberplate ends in KTJ.)

But yeah, there's no real significance to it.
