I understand you, sometimes you take the risk because it's cheap and quick.
The UID leads to Humphery Uchenna Emele, Hirschgasse 5, 73614 Schorndorf - but the tax number belongs to the Hanover tax office, over 500km away via the motorway.
The house in the old town of Schorndorf is the address of several dozen companies, Humphery has by no means a warehouse there for the over 500 mismatched items offered on eBay.
He is most likely just a front end for the distribution of probably mostly Chinese goods and perhaps a poor bastard himself, keeping his head above water that way. He will probably never come into physical contact with most of the goods.
But as I said, I understand you.
If I put in the same effort before each of my purchases that I put in now after your purchase, I wouldn't get to buy anymore.
That you as a buyer just let it go is, however, the calculation of those who shower us with rubbish.
Incidentally, it was this realisation that led me to start rescuing old tools.
When I need something technical, my first choice is always "old" and "used" - only when I can't solve my problem with it do I look for "new" and sometimes buy stuff that looks suspiciously like made from chinesium.
But in reality the motto is: I am too poor, I can only afford the best.

I designed a robotic one as part of my final year project at uni, I can assure you researching them isn't much fun.

Did you realise the precise directional control of the unit solely via the speed of the two plates?I bet it's fun for all of ten minutes.

The speed of the pans is constant, they can tilt slightly so there's more pressure at the edge which pushes it around. Same as how you'd use a floor sander, tilt it to the side and it pulls itself forward or backwards. Obviously I never built it, really just drew it in Fusion and boldly claimed it was better than a manned one.

A mouse. £35 off amazon. Im fed up with cheap mice. It has a nice feature, press a button and it will connect to another device with 3 saved. It works on phone and tablet bluetooth too.

I’ve had one of those for a couple of years - love it, especially the little button so you can have clicky scroll or it freewheels when you spin the scroll wheel.
Battery lasts ages between charges too

That's a bargain, I have 4 of them, one here, one for the workshop, one for the van and one for the boss and her laptop.
Think I paid about double that for them.

I've got one too, excellent mouse. The software to configure the extra buttons is good, you can have different functions within different software. I've got them as "Home" and "Back" on Chrome but "Copy" and "Paste" in Word, Notepad, etc.

The smartshift is nice, so Ive reassigned that button to guestures with copy, paste and zoom.
Would have been nice if it was a more neutral shape for both handed use, but its still quite useable with the left.
I think I will be buying another for work, if I continue as a software dev it will greatly help.

Got a new cover for a car tent as the old one failed from UV damage so i have a safe place for the midget for now, plus a few packs of ikea Ladda 2450mh batteries to use in my walkie talkies and a large west german vase to go with my collection.
