That comes with the coffeeWater?
There's two apparently.....
People crawling through the desert don't cry out for "coffee"
Today I collected this.....
Thanks Carsten.Interesting piece of equipment! Nice
The large phase capacitor on the motor gives me a hunch that this can be brought back to its old three-phase glory quite easily.
1,500rpm seems like a realistic rpm to me.
Why don't you take good, legible pictures of all the nameplates: Engine, tank, and compressor, then I'm sure one will be able to help you out here.
So your question about the oil means there is no oil sight glass? Everything clean around there?
Is there an upper and lower oil plug, maybe a separate drain plug? Often the necessary oil level can be estimated quite well due to the layout and design.
In any case, find someone with an instrument to inspect the tank from the inside, digital boroscopes don't cost much these days,
many people already have one.
A bursting tank is not funny, almost never without serious injury or worse, you want to have seen the inside of the tank before!
Good luck with the project, looks like a pretty durable machine.

motor isn't original as its East German!
I think where I work (as there is a workshop for Plant & Machinery, trucks) there might be a boroscopeI can borrow.... but if not I'll look into getting hold of oneThat's why I think I can find out something about the motor for you, I know someone with original knowledge I could ask and it's easy for me to read the original technical dokumentation.
Anyone who does a lot with engines now has a digital boroscope, ask around.
Your tests were correct and important, but not enough.
You need to know what it looks like inside.
Many of the Chinese ebay-dealers of these boroscopes offer a return period, you have nothing more to lose than return postage at most.

A Balding Beaver.Looks beefy, what make is it?
I was in Canada in 1997 .. In Toronto in the Eaton centre we went to a big camera shop to buy my birthday present camera as there wasn't much available in the UK for sensible prices .Compacts like that are usually under rated or discarded due to "not enough megapixels"
In reality they are often better than most phones (yes I know, your phone camera is awesome) but they use ai and processing to achieve it, blown up or viewed on a calibrated monitor most phone camera pics look like phone camera pics, and the new ai bokeh modes just look wrong
Compare a shot taken on an f1.4 50mm lens and a phone camera with fake bokeh and you will see what I mean
Make sure they don't picture anything that contravenes the HASAW or any other legislation and publish it to the internet. Should anything go wrong & some one is seriously injured or killed you can bet your bottom dollar that such published pictures if found will be used against you guys & the shed.Yes I agree.
The future of this camera is for Mini MIS.
It is cheep. 3Gb is big enough for their needs. Plus it will replace the dead one.
That means the MIS can document teir projects, with an In house camera.
The camera is only to be used by Mini MIS, all images are owned by them.Make sure they don't picture anything that contravenes the HASAW or any other legislation and publish it to the internet. I was in Canada in 1997 .. In Toronto in the Eaton centre we went to a big camera shop to buy my birthday present camera as there wasn't much available in the UK for sensible prices .
I go into the shop and am approached by a middle aged intelligent looking guy , smart as a button , dressed in a blazer & tie type uniform .
" I'd like to buy a digital camera please."
" How big do you want it Sir ?"
" 6 mega pixels " says I .
" Six Sir , Oh no Sir , no one will ever be using that much memory ,it's just so enormous . "
He was gobsmacked when I told him that Fuji had brought out a 24 mega pixel camera a fortnight ago and it was to cost about £24,00 pounds UK Now look at things 24 mega pixel is as good as the indsurry standard / norm for a decent camera .
I ended up with the very latest release 2.2 mega pixel with the sliding barn door similar to the one below , I thought it was crap when I took pictures of our new born in late Dec 2001 as they were so grainy & blurred when put on Alison's brand new Nov 2001 work computer that was used for high spec scanning & enlarging etc. .
Olympus CAMEDIA D-360L 1.2MP Digital Camera - Silver
Not long after this camera buying I became friends with a guy who travelled the world for Rolls Royce engines , flying over crash sites & photographing them from many angles then stitching the pictures together to form 3D pictures if needed. He wouldn't tell me how many pixels his cameras had or who made them but said they might be on the non military market in five or so years . He was able to show me a picture of a coke bottle from over four miles away on his enormous unbranded 30 x 35 square inch monitor with the size of the bottle as big & the logo as clear as if it were in my hand .
Likewise!Sorry the laughing emoji it's for the trouser trouble you're having!
