Is it a pocket anvil for those quick blacksmithing jobs when out and about?

Tinkers anvil - for a travelling tinsmith.

I have one that is about the size and weight of a 16lb sledge hammer.

I saw Gragsons post the other day and had a look for the Rothenberger Roxy set he was using, MM want around £250 for one so I managed to find one on FB , new and unused for about a third of that. Bit of a soggy drive to collect it but at that price it was worth it.

Are these any good for siezed bolts and generally heating parts up?

I am able to borrow one of these whenever, but I don’t like to unless I’m stuck. I’ll be getting my own when funds allow.

A roller shutter door, to replace the up-and-over garage door that's been on the house since it was built in 1966. A bargain, friend of a friend is having a new garage built, this was on the old garage. Can't find the remotes, unfortunately.

I’ve used the GYS one, well impressed, way better than the Sealey type except when your not able to get the heater pad onto whatever you need to heat as it’s a bit bulky . If I had to buy one it would be the GYS

Yeah they can, some kits come with a long wire which you can bend to shape yourself. They're very effective for getting bearing races off of shafts, they heat the bearing race up really quickly before much heat can transfer to the shaft.

This arrived today. Still deciding on how to slow it down to cut metal. May have a gearbox, will need a 3 phase flange mounted motor.

I’ve had a go on a gys water cooled one but it had a big block pad. Acess. Would be a pain I assume.

I think you can make your own bootlace type ones. There’s plenty on gaztube

I will be once I can afford. It has saved tens if not hundreds of hours in the workshop that it lives in.

Yesterday technically but I acquired a reasonable "final" layout of the workshop.

Had to keep stuff out of the way until the staircase was built but a few tonnes of metal has been moved around. It's even tidier now but I started wiring things a bit more permanently so no lights downstairs and too dark for photo. There's a nice open space where I'm stood (big enough for a Land Rover) by the big roller door for projects if needed
