Does rust make it more or less squeaky?I'm told that if used correctly the movement stops the rust forming.
I don't know about the effects of rust in relation to the noise level of squeaks but it doesn't hurt to use the occasional squirt of lubricant .Does rust make it more or less squeaky?
I’ve always had good things to say. Their tech department is very helpfulSome tooling for the G. Dufour mill.

A clear workbench and a working plasma cutter. It was misbehaving a few months back, finally had a chance to look at it a couple of weeks ago and then it stopped working completely, not firing up the arc at all. Checked with a torch from my father's unit and no dice last night so submitted a query to R-Tech (gone 5pm) about sending it back for diagnosis. Had a phone call at about 10am this morning with a technical guy and we walked through the problems and suggested starting with adjusting / calibrating the spark gap thingy (for want of a better word) and told me roughly where it should be and what to look for when it was "good". Went out to the workshop - followed his suggestions and got it working again. Despite what people say about them not bad service for a unit that's 3 years out of warranty and 6 years old.

Ex Boss had to admit that the drkill that was in my old van did not belong to the company.
So he had no choice to buy me a replacement.
Had to, as when they emptied the van for the stock take, they wrote the drill off and binned it

Mine is too - was a sod getting it in and out of a Transit Connect, though...Its great to see a machine with an "undamaged" table.
Auxiliary handle simply impossible to clean and make look new? First thing my father removed when he purchased a new tool.Did it again
Won an eBay auction , well I've actually placed an offer not a bid
View attachment 393698the seller accepted so I've actually bought this "faulty" Metabo WEA 24-230 MVT for 50 euros . Pretty confident by looking at the conditions that the only fault is the broken plug. I already have Metabo tools and auxiliary handles are simply impossible to clean at the point to look new . This one looks little bit dirty but the overall plastic and gear housing conditions make me think that it has worked for very little time prior somewhat happened to the plug . It features ,soft start, anti restart protection, electronic safety clutch, overload protection, antivibe handles, autobalancer, four positions swivel main handle. I have a protective guard might fit , and i might have to buy a quick release nut as the original one has been either lost or taken off the grinder. Always wanted one of those but 350 euros for a grinder was really too much. I'm still hunting for deals
Do we get it on our front lawn for a week a year? I could be up for that...^^ Forum buy?
