A 7" grinder for £48.38... And now that i've already ordered a second one i'll share how.. I absolutely love 7" grinders and while 7" consumables are not commonly available in stores they are easily available online so if you are the sort of person that stocks up on abrasives online you might want to consider one for this price, it even has soft start.

Note: It does come with a 13A plug i just forgot to take a picture before changing it to the 16A i use.

Facom tool box from Prime Tools, described as heavy duty but I disagree! I see Stanley have it in their colours too. It's destined to become a (solar) battery pack for camping if I can package it. Also from Prime were some reduced King Dick tools and the Milwaukee impact adaptor set.



From a recent car boot was the brake spanner, box of bolts and some 11mm ply'. The bolt seller had several old stock unopened boxes from British manufactures - Nettlefolds, GKN (Guest, Keen, Nettlefolds) and The British Screw Co. I wont open this box, I'll keep it for posterity.
The toolbox doesn't have a flat floor hence the ply' which will allow better packaging of the batteries.

I remember going past the GKN factory in Heath Street, Smethwick, both sides of the road and seemed to go on for miles, I worked with a fitter who used to be a toolmaker there.

13mm belts (1/2" i old money) they appear to be readily available, the belts that is. I have a few more tools on my list (but not that many) I just need to save up for them :-)

Watch out because these milwaukee belt grinders are available in two sizes, 10x330 and 13x457, i got the 13x457 because there is more abrasive choice and i can't see me needing the smaller one for anything.

Another bottle of gas from yet another supplier, the old cylinders are piling up! gone posh and got the argon/co2 mix rather than just co2 so we will see if the welding improves which i doubt!

Some steel for £880/t.
The wheels came from a farm sale last month,there were 8,auctioneer didn’t see my hand rise at the end,I asked the winning bidder did he want them all,he was willing to split in half and leave them in the local cafe for me to collect the next week,so paid £5.

Didn't want or need it but it was only £10. Sold to me as "seized" but took 10 minutes to remove the stone stuck in the pump.

The motor and pump now run perfectly. I need to replace the air filter (it was completely perished) but when searching "Honda GX110 air filter" on eBay they look very different from the one I removed, which was basically just a rectangular block of foam with a hole in the centre. Any ideas?
