I made a new air filter for the mower, the old one was starting to fall to bits, well it was over £20 years old. Found a piece of foam that I could suck through, cut it to shape and stuck it in the filter housing. Mower works loads better now.Didn't want or need it but it was only £10. Sold to me as "seized" but took 10 minutes to remove the stone stuck in the pump.
The motor and pump now run perfectly. I need to replace the air filter (it was completely perished) but when searching "Honda GX110 air filter" on eBay they look very different from the one I removed, which was basically just a rectangular block of foam with a hole in the centre. Any ideas?
