I prefer to hold die grinders near the work end, so to work the switch in that position I need to move my hand position to work the safety latch, then hold it not quite where I'd prefer to.I don't really understand what you mean about the switch , it'a a paddle switch and under the tool it's meant that you can't accidentally turn it on unless it's firmly gripped in the hand
That's what the coiled yellow cord is for, attaches over the front brake lever by the starter as a reminder; but then you know that, right ?
The first thing that popped into my head was some sort of clay pipe breaker? (normally pulled through with a chain on the end and a new pipe behind it, but maybe a different design for going around a cable or something? was clay pipe ever even used as a conduit? other than that no idea
Don't think that's GE as in General Electric as they were normally GEC. Since the lower transfer shows Braintree, Essex and Garage Equipment, that's probably what the GE stands for.
I think it's a load-balancer device.
