Well, after years of looking, I eventually made one mine. Missed out on one about five years ago. Fell over this one less than two miles from home. Crazy how things pan out. Three jaw scroll chuck but with independently adjustable jaws to. Light surface rust. Unmolested so well happy . Landed up buying seven chucks in a joblot to get it, found a nice chuck for my cylindrical grinder, will move the rest on.
Jaws in the tin are for another tasty little chuck that I will probably move on.

What's the easiest means to centre part?
Measure the offset at the 3 jaws and set them to the average?

A good friend got this for me today at a car boot.

I've bought a flux core /mig/MMA welder
Gas no gas ,inverter ,power generator compatible,140A .
I'll run it with my new to me Pramac Honda generator bought yesterday.
Already have to repair my brother's van.
But primarily bought to repair my 126 body panels .
159 euros Italian company which assembly Chinese components here in Italy .
Not top match brand but not either totally rubbish.
Hopefully it will be ok for my needs .
I'll run it at lower settings .

the amount of those boiler units and add ons have you got a secret basement where you keep them all
and the battery connectors look like they clean up nice with a dremmel wire wheel ?

1 transformer based stick welder I'm going to modify to make an arc gouger
1 inverter stick welder
1 engine driven welder
4 or 5 soldering irons (three of them are Weller)
2 cutting torches
1 plasma cutter
3 9" grinders
1 7" grinder
I guess 6 or 7 5" grinders
I've given the point I might say.
I'm enough too far from an average hobbyist

At least he knows what he's got. I spotted a grinder in my dad's garage today and said it's the same as my one. He told me it is my one.
