All Mr. Sensible now?
Being serious for a change, several reasons for the single burner, cheaper unit.
1) No idea what the quality & usability is like, until I assemble & try it. Only one review on Amazon, negative, & that was for the double burner unit. I take reviews on there generally with a pinch of salt, however. Better to chance less money on a gamble though, as I couldn't find any other reviews online either.
2) Can't recall ever having had the urge, upto just, to heat any large pieces. Usually smaller stuff, so hopefully should be ample. Can always upgrade later if necessary.
3) Space limitations.
I've bitten myself in the past by going for the larger option. Can't honestly see how it'd be necessary with this though, offhand.
