Tomorrows job is to get it out of my D2 and into the shop without dropping it
A Villiers C12 stationary engine, all I need now is a deckchair so I can take it to a vintage rally and sit watching it

Far to modern you need an old Lister and a flat cap...
You need a big old flywheel with a flat belt to a pump at the end of it so you can sit there and watch it pump the same 2 gallons on water around all day......
I really could do that myself ya know!
That's the spirit! You can then put a light bulb on the end to watch all day....
get one of these and u can get some exercise as well .also known as a paddys motorcycle
I have a villiers very similar to that one. Will post a pic of it later.A Villiers C12 stationary engine, all I need now is a deckchair so I can take it to a vintage rally and sit watching it

I like those engines that fire once every few revs on tickover.
I had one of them on a cylinder mower, flipping thing had an alarming kick back when trying to start it and would surge, usually whne trying to mow near an edge or tree.. I've tried timing it and that seems to be a bit of a black art. I took it off to fit a Honda (oh shush, the grass needs cutting..) and the pulley wont move.. I'm not a fan.A Villiers C12 stationary engine, all I need now is a deckchair so I can take it to a vintage rally and sit watching it
