I measure the tip at 3.36mm so about 6.8mm but its listed as 7mm. I might adjust it to 6.5mm.
However since I ordered, I've found possibly a better choice would have been TBGT060101 inserts and a C06K-STUBR06 holder. Bigger insert, 3 edges, but the same minimum bore, and the chip breaker angle looks better. Inserts appear to be more available or slightly cheaper too.

Not today, but last week. A 2m length of 25mmx300mm steel. Would have been rude to say no for £50. Cleft it in Twain with my little 125mm angle grinder. Got to love my Fein grinder, 1750w opposed to the normal 600w ish that most grinders have. Made light work of getting it into more user friendly lumps…

Actually not that old. “ Engineer” changed spec on a house refurb and this plate became redundant before it was even installed.Gotta like a bit of old steel

Today I acquired a little mac 1/4 dr socket
in 7mm now all I need is an MG6 in unicorn 10mm and I'm to a full set .
but the best bit of the day
a pair of HD welding clamps from @Paulbarrett . Not quite sure what I was expecting but these exceeded it

Yep and i got the other pair...quality pair of clamps these as i have the size bigger too and they hold 2 bits of square stock exactly 90 degree for welding up, makes the job so much easierToday I acquired a little mac 1/4 dr socket

A new thermometer to replace my ruined one.
Listed as spares or repair, the plan was to swap the front of the case with my still functional melted one, but it turns out:
A. It works absolutely fine, just missing it's battery cover.
B. It's actually better than my old one, I had a 62 MAX, this is a 62 MAX + (And was listed as a 64
)
C. The part of the case I was planning on using has been engraved with a number, which was carefully taped over in the eBay listing. Presumably the seller stole it from work and didn't want anyone recognising the asset number.

If people didn't buy stolen gear, or reported it, maybe the market for stolen gear would dry up and decent tradesmen wouldn't keep losing it!
