make an ideal little die grinder to remove the identification numbers off your recent temp gaugeA dental motor!

The plan is to use it as a higher quality Dremel, or rather, a significantly cheaper Eneska micromotor. I've had this idea lingering for years and finally bitten the bullet, not sure if it'll actually work, I might end up putting it back on eBay in a few weeks.
I know it's a brushed DC motor, don't know the top speed or the voltage, though I assume 40,000 RPM at 24v. I also don't know what handpieces fit it, I've got a straight, 1:1 speed handpiece on the way but I'm basically just hoping it will fit. I need to find a decent foot pedal too, and make a controller to power it.
If there's any dentists on here who are more clued up about these things, please speak up!
Too late in the day mate, they're all on the 15th hole by now...If there's any dentists on here who are more clued up about these things, please speak up!
A new thermometer to replace my ruined one.

Listed as spares or repair, the plan was to swap the front of the case with my still functional melted one, but it turns out:
A. It works absolutely fine, just missing it's battery cover.
B. It's actually better than my old one, I had a 62 MAX, this is a 62 MAX + (And was listed as a 64 )
C. The part of the case I was planning on using has been engraved with a number, which was carefully taped over in the eBay listing. Presumably the seller stole it from work and didn't want anyone recognising the asset number.

What I've said?Not 1x but 2x Stihl Concrete saws:
View attachment 440796
The top one is a minter and needs nothing. Nearly two nice condition to use it!
The lower one was supposed to be a project bought as spares or repairs. Annoyingly I added fresh fuel and it fired right up and runs like a top
I have a service kit for it anyway and new belt as its missing that. I have already cleaned it well and will service it later then put that one to work on Saturday.

why wont it fitWe seem to be having a bit of a run today .........

It will replace a well used ts400 , starts first pull , but the best bit is it takes a 14"/ 350mm blade . I can now cut all the way through single skin brick ordered a cheapie diamond of the bay for now . Shame the one in old sthil won't fit as it's been a belter .
the choke doesn't self release when you blip the throttle on these machines you have to return it .View attachment 440783
Found this one at home after opening the door.
I've bought it maybe 2 weeks ago can't remember now.
Anyway it has fuel into the tank, the pull cord is evidently broken ,decomp doesn't work but I've managed to make the engine turn and it has compression ,and it did a pop .
Choke doesn't disengage when I touch the throttle...
I think it should but actually never had a cut off saw in my hands before and I don't know if it works like a normal Husqvarna or jonsered chainsaw which release the choke lever when pressing the throttle .
I'm going to check quickly the pull cord and try to start it .
After that I'll empty the tank
because the sthil has a bigger bore and I don't have the correct spacer the husky is only 20mm bore . And I want a 350mm blade not a 300mmwhy wont it fit
no lathe then i presumebecause the sthil has a bigger bore and I don't have the correct spacer the husky is only 20mm bore . And I want a 350mm blade not a 300mm
