Me too. Equally as badly packaged!! Unlike zoro to scrimp on packaging. It's normally a screwdriver in a washing machine sized box full of big air bags!
The poor packaging does seem uncharacteristic of Zoro. When I order from Zoro over here, they usually leave me supplied with enough extra packing material to...to...I don't know...to do something with...can't think of anything clever. Anyway, a lot of extra packing!
The length is incorrect, as it was for the other bronze. It'll be a 13" length. Still cheap, though.Spotted this, £15 for 6" on ebay so if full 3m then payday lol https://www.zoro.co.uk/shop/mainten...gun-metal-bar-cc493k-sae660-1pce/p/ZT1095234S
Never know, might get the full length and if not complain lolThe length is incorrect, as it was for the other bronze. It'll be a 13" length. Still cheap, though.
Close13" long?
They are all up to £50-£60 (each) on zoro website now!The length is incorrect, as it was for the other bronze. It'll be a 13" length. Still cheap, though.
Deep throat clamps, dont google that! only USpro so they will falls to bits in rapid time but they were cheap and they clamp
Seezy ..... a 500 kg motorbike lifter with a 3x 2 foot table and anchor pointsCue a new thread "how do I get these ramps out of my van?"
Back in 1978 with the UN I had the job of repairing two vacuum operated hand held lapping tools. They were magic kit eventually repaired with leather vanes from a bespoke shoe maker in Nicosia ,and worth their weight in gold when it's 44 oc outside the tin shed you are working in .Those drill operated valve lappers are quite useful for the first buzz over, and save a fair old bit of work.
Getting the finish up to 800 grit needs the feel of the hand lapper, though....

Can anyone help me identify this round of very heavy hard wood ?
It came from a garden in Portugal , I thought it was Pomegranate wood but apparently it's not so . The bigger rounds were a good 18 inches in dia before they were split for firewood .
This oblique slice is from a five inch dia log , it is flour inches across by six inches long & the bark has been removed . It' was cut about 10 yrs ago and has been stored undercover in the dry in a north facing wood store
