New toy, I'm surprised it got here in one piece. Courier phoned at 7am to say he'd be there at 8, I was still playing tents in bed. He arrived at 9

There's now at least three of us here with an eagle surface grinder.

Are you planning to run this from a VFD? Mine was permanently star wired but it was quite straightforward to dig the star point out and wire as delta.

I have alot of 3phase machines so have a static converter, I still use vfds on some stuff for variable speed and braking though

Being a Beach tool box collector I have plenty of storage but you still cant beat Bisley Drawers for keeping stuff sorted.

A few days ago I opened one of the Velux windows in the ManCave and, predictably, I forgot to close it and, predictably, it rained overnight. I've been meaning to get one for a few years so bit the bullet - made far easier by 20% off at EBAC!

It arrived the next day and the following morning it was full!

Car runs but I've solved nothing.
I've bought 4 iwp160 injectors they'll be here in two weeks.
If even that doesn't work.
I have a 4 Mikuni carbs battery from an Yamaha R750 and this would be the solution

First car boot of the season today, not much there but I did get a hi-vis waistcoat for a quid. I've been thinking recently that on the odd occasion I cycle after dark, something a bit brighter than my black coat might be a good idea, even though I have lights and reflectors. They're not dear at Screwfix, but I keep forgetting to order one and I daren't just turn up on spec as they probably won't have one in stock.

It's been a while since I went to a street market, and for a while I mean years.
I might go to one on one of those Sundays.
I remember there's always something interesting like machining stuff , cutting torches,chainsaws other tools and tooling like grinders,drill bits etc .
It's few months to be honest I'm thinking to go...
Since a colleague went to buy a 34mm drill bit he broke using the radial arm drill cause he forgot to lock the column

I purchased my Dronsfield Eagle about 5 years ago for £250 and it is still in bits, and another job i have still to do. The Dronsfield factory is a listed building,. Several companies built the Eagle.
