Should be here sometime this week, and the things are supposedly accurate.
The odometer on the 80mph D-shaped Chronometric is reading tragically slowly, but to get a Chronometric serviced is about twice the price of a new GPS unit....

The 'piece of resistance' is the 1/4" ratchet and extension. Worth upwards of £70. You can guess the name on it, I'm sure

Today I became a man .
I've bought a most likely 60 or 70 years old metal lathe
600mm between centers
240mm turning diameter
MT 2 tailstock.
Compound slide
Belt drive spindle 6 speeds + 2 gears
160mm chuck (on the lathe)
Another one same size
And a smaller 100mm one
All three have their sets of jaws, and all three are 3 jaws chucks
Quick change impero tool post .
10 things to hold the tool on the tool post I'm missing the name
3Hp motor
Sheet metal bench/ cabinet/basement.
A bunch of tooling
All the gears for thread cutting.

This lathe belongs from an 84 years old me (this guy has so many tools it's a shame he has to sell them because he's too old to stay where it lives)
350 euros and I'm going to collect it this Saturday
