I wanted and apron for quicky grinding/welding jobs so I didnt have to get togged up in my overalls, seemed to be a good make but cheap enough with gloves

Not sure who they used for the model but its got a stupid neck strap set up where you have to get your head and arms through, not a quick job and it only just fits me and im only 6 foot/13 stone, anyhow a bit of modification and just tied the straps so it just goes over you head now, much quicker just to throw on

I was clearing out some old office equipment and decided the steel microfiche cabinet would be ideal for tool storage, so saved from the tip:

Today I finally cashed in a £50 voucher work gave me for being there 2 years. Combined with a £7.51 credit note from Amazon, I managed to acquire a Sealey SMS2008 Drill Sharpener marked down on Amazon.

I was hoping for a lot (I really can't sharpen drills by hand!) Expecting it to be rubbish (Like every other drill sharpener I've owned)

Based on your review, I bought one too. Been considering one for a couple of years - delivered today, box in a paper sack, no additional packaging or protection . . . meaning some random loose screws in the box, case looked secondhand and the plug was bent!

Replacement on it's way, now I've got to walk down the post office to fire this one back.

Funny you should say that - mine wasn't even in a paper sack (Unusual for Amazon!) - just the box - with a loose screw in the bottom. It looked as if it had been repacked but at least the plug wasn't bent.

Oh aye i have no intentions of using them. Just intrested in the crude bygone engineering.

Trapping was part of life before food came in plastic packages, as not all small game was shot with gun. Different world we live in nowadays, but still a cruel one in many ways.
