Looks interesting - how does it work?I bought this to remove the inner track rods on my boys car. I wish I knew these existed when I did the Surf!

If it doesn't break it will be a great tool.
Ah I see. Same idea as a stud remover. You undo the outer track rod then slide this over the shaft, it then cams onto the inner track rod when you turn it with a breaker bar.

I was helping one of the mini miglia racers out at Pembrey a few years ago, he bent a track rod and steering arm. So how to change the track rod? I took a walk up and down the paddock, asked every team there if they had a stillson, miracurously someone did, so we jacked it all up, I got underneath with the stillson, and change it we did. I had some strange looks mind, mad Welshman attacks mini racer with monkey wrench...
Looks the same as the one I have that must be 15 years old and has been used loads, still going strongIf it doesn't break it will be a great tool.
Its coming up to that time of year and getting all me tackle ready so cancel all barbeques and outdoor events as its going to hiss down in about 2 weeks!

Now that’s something you can fit to the Daughter!Couple of old gin traps. A lad at work was clearing his father inlaws shed out and was going to scrap these. Then he thought of me. I love old stuff like this. View attachment 452063
