I've probably put more nails through my cheap pneumatic one stood in the shed door trying to hit a wind chime at the end of the garden than I have actually nailing things together.Pew pew!
Had half an eye out for a stationary engine for some time now, usually they're too much money or eleventy million miles away but today a job lot of bits came up for a good price and local enough for easy collection. A top fella and his Mrs helped me lug them into the boot of the car.
Should make a nice winter project.

I can redo part 1 or do part 3, no mention of 2 ? Might try to get the tutor to let me do both Tig and Mig on the same course, don't know. I do know it doesn't start until next April but I had to sign up now as the course is always over subscribed.
Drill sharpener seems very sturdy and lacking plastics, will do a review on it.
I have one of these, they are very good. What you have to do though is try to do all one size, so all your blunt 8mm drills, then swap the collett out for another size and do all that size or you end up chopping and changing which is a pain in the buttocks.

If you spot another let me know as I would love something like this, fix the engine up, make a trolley. As you say, a perfect winter project.

Buy one cheap get two free, and two are still in date to next year. The other one is early this year but as my studlock and bearing fit officially expired in 2009 and 2007 in not going to worry!

We're currently investigating failures of an M53 left hand threaded joint secured with a Loctite product - suspicion at the moment is out of date product.Buy one cheap get two free, and two are still in date to next year. Interesting, I wonder if it has an in use shelf life, as in use it within shelf life period and the joint has to be re-made after a certain alloted time?
Certainly my stud lock and bearing fit seemed to be fine last time I used them.
