Something is broken or missing on this one then.From memory you release the little one on the handle which stays put, the big one on the roll you have to hold as you unwind it

Clearing a garage for a friend couldn't resist this its about 8" probably no use but couldnt go in skip, i suspect from a boat as he was a naval engineer

Many years ago, work colleagues helped me load a big compressor on a big tank into the rear seat area of my Lancia - it just fitted between the doors, and sat on suitable woods, just cleared the door handles. Lovely job.View attachment 466194
Strictly speaking acquired about 9 months ago... But I finally got around to all the jobs that were preventing me from offloading it from the trailer today.
Had completely forgotten how massive and heavy the damn thing is, just getting it down was enough for today.
Getting it into, through, and back out of the workshop is a job for another day, with friends... So it's currently wrapped in scaff-sheet to keep it dry.
