Measuring rust according to the dial?? I only skip dived it intending to strip it and use the boxWhats it for??
What did you clean that with, it's come out lovely.A Stihl MS201T are a great saw. Light, compact and powerful. I bought one broken on ebay cheap and repaired it. Needed piston and rings. I also added a Stihl power upgrade kit consisting of flywheel, coil and Carb for around £80 genuine parts.

The Echo is great, the lightest proper petrol saw you can buy. It is much lighter and less powerful than the MS201's, both a good thing. Its also very well silenced so its not uncomfortable without ear defenders. Very easy to control and ideal for pruning and ideal for work under 8-10", its slow on bigger stuff. Where a ms201 is more suited to blocking down limbs and trunks 10-14".Out of interest what’s the Echo like to use Kram? I’ve been recommended the CS-2511WES for hedgelaying, though I don’t really do enough to justify one.

Mine also runs perfectly, starts first pull and is great to use. I love how compact it is. Mine is the 10" carving bar version TESC, which may be useful if you need to cut between stuff in small spaces.
Stihl do the MS151 which is near enough the same thing, slightly heavier with slightly more power, but double the cost! The guy Im working with uses one as his climbing saw. They do a ground version.
MS 151 TC-E Petrol Chainsaw | STIHL
<p>The lightest top handle chainsaw made by STIHL.</p> <p>This upgraded version of the MS 151 features a new 2-MIX engine that consists of a new cylinder, piston and exhaust. These changes mean there is an increase in power of the saw by up to 1.05 kW and a 15% increase in torque to 1.1 Nm - all...www.stihl.co.uk
Lightweight saw is much easier on the wrists, every climber I know has had some wrist issues.

A current pic of the CS340. I have rescued the carb for inspection, I asume theres skmething to be cleaned under the screwed cover/diaphram area. What other chainsaws do you have?
Most should have Echo or be able to get easily enough, plus the internet..Thanks @JOEPRO , the benefit with Stihl, particularly in this area, every garden machinery dealer holds spares for them.
