A household bulb would run at mains AC voltage and most AC lamp dimming circuits will use phase control (RC network and TRIAC) to adjust the brightness. I doubt the gadget outputs mains voltage so does it require a special low DC voltage version? I had a look online and could see nothing mentioned about the output voltage or specification for the bulb.

We'll see when it arrives, I seriously doubt it has a miniature inverter in it.
You might be right about the special bulb but a step up converter would fit in it too

Finally got the DTW700 clone.
Tested and destroyed a socket provided with the DTW300 clone.
It feels like a better tool than the DTW300 clone I've got first.
I'm not talking about the power because that's obvious but about the material quality feel a lot better.
I only need to solve a little problem with the battery interface on the unit as it doesn't allows Makita style batteries to fit all the way in and catch the detent.
I think it's because the solder protruding from the connecting plate.
I've had to clean it too as it came covered by what look like wall paint.
Normally I'd would have got a replacement or a refund for it but the seller has been very kind through the process of solving the delivery problem I've just made him aware about without asking nothing more

It's rustier than I thought. And takes up much more room than I thought, so I must think of creative ways to put things on and in it without damage to either the things or the shell, or get rid of some stuff to free up space.

Bonus photo in that two of the wheel dollies I mentioned above were used at the back. Move would have gone better if there wasn't a 2" step down from the garage it has been resting in for 10+ years, and if it hadn't rained, causing the shell to get wet for the first time in that time.

Series IV or V? I had a V GT many years ago. I did quite a bit of metal work on it including bulkhead, front wings and sills. Cracking little cars.

Aye thats right mate. They make bespoke surgical shoes where i work. Its an Italian machine i believe. The plate looks very cold war Russian however.

It's a Series V, not a GT, though there is a hardtop with the pile of parts. It will need quite a bit of metalwork, the more I look at it the more I see it needs, with the nearside door pillar area looking quite crusty. I've freed the rear brakes off now, so the dollies aren't needed any more, and amazingly the tyres are holding air. A metal trolley under the front will make that mobile, but of course it had two fixed casters so I'm having to swap those for rotating / turning ones, and there's one bolt (which are flat-head screwdriver heads, annoyingly) that is putting up a fight.

While I was dismantling the DTW700 clone Amazon shown up at the door

DHR171 clone not exactly clone but at least looks like a Makita and not a Bosch corded hammer with a battery attached to it

It came with 6-8-10-12-14mm drills too

And an useless 3/8" chuck

Now I still have to buy a cordless drill then original Makita batteries and charger and I technically have everything battery powered I need.
I kinda like clones they get the job done, don't look like a toy but at the same time they are budget friendly for occasional use.
I feel little bit guilty but I did only really need the DTW300 clone everything else is just because...
But I'm happy with them all, especially with the impact wrenches they are a game changer for me.
I can't believe I've been waiting so long before to get one.
They would have saved me a lot of time and effort loosening fasteners while working on cars and equipment.

For a cheap Chinese unit I was surprised it came with a 169 page user guide. In English! Maybe they copied it from somewhere.

Some new multi tool blades from Tool Station.
They seem pretty good so far, better than the Bosch ones i got with my 240v corded multi tool.

One of the jaws moves 4mm up and down while the other two don't move, it's essentially broken.
Then it's small for modern standards and I don't need it in first place because it's an SDS drill after all I'm surely not going to use it to drill metal or wood because my brushless Parkside is still alive and it will be replaced with a 140Nm clone just for drilling

Can be handy to have a chuck on that adapter though, just incase. As you suggest, better off with a dedicated drill, but you always have a backup option with that available.

Dahlander motor? That's what I bought mine for. I've been using mine with a 230V output VFD and it is under powered.
