VFD with 380V 3ph output.

For a cheap Chinese unit I was surprised it came with a 169 page user guide. In English! Maybe they copied it from somewhere.

Toshiba or Mitsubishi I can't remember what's fitted on the Serdi valve seat cutter at work but the manual it's very similar to it

Seems remarkably well built for the price - "UUCap", I'm sure aren't the best brand of capacitors, but time will tell on longevity.
Tested OK, which is a good start.

The Claw fittings are intended for:
• Connecting the compressor to the pipework,
• Providing connection points for my ¾ impact & the wet-blaster I occasionally borrow, and
• Letting me connect tools that need unlubricated air via a Claw to XF converter hose.

The XF fittings are for the spray gun, grit blaster, plasma, and blow-guns to stop me accidentally hooking them up to a lubricated air supply.

The remaining standard PCL & ¼ BSP hose tails are to make up whip hoses for the various tools, after it became apparent that I have a lot of them, and making my own would be a lot cheaper than buying pre-made.

I still haven't gone to dig out the pipe and fittings though...

What I didn't get was more O-clips...

Got about halfway through making off all the connections when I ran out.

It takes household E27 LED bulbs and it has a little potentiometer to adjust the brightness.
It will see more fishing than work but definitely handy to have around

A household bulb would run at mains AC voltage and most AC lamp dimming circuits will use phase control (RC network and TRIAC) to adjust the brightness. I doubt the gadget outputs mains voltage so does it require a special low DC voltage version? I had a look online and could see nothing mentioned about the output voltage or specification for the bulb.

Led light bulbs will light on even on eddy current (ever had a strobe bulb? )
They probably just use a first generation led bulb without filter circuit in it which keeps them off on older electrical layout
