Wasn't actually today but acquired over the weekend but actually managed to get around to looking at them. These are off a friend in Scotland it all started with the twist drill which started as a joke comment on a Land Rover forum and was duly posted down to me.
Then a month or so later a large parcel appeared which turned out to be the mag drill.
We called in on the way south to collect these counter tops.
Stephen the had a spare transformer so dumped it in the Argocat to run the mag drill.
Asked if I could use the air reel so some spare was duly made in the back of the Range Rover for it. Just need to get some adapters as all my stuff is 1/4" BSP and this is 3/8ths.

I have a few saws that will cut right through the concrete and rebar at the same time, but I have some wiggle room as to where I make the cuts, so if I know where the rebar is, I may be able to keep most (or all) of the rebar intact and avoid having to install any new reinforcement.
Here's an example:
Due to a change in plans, I need to widen the door openings in the foundation for our new garage. I can cut from either side (or both sides) of the door openings to get the required width. I'd like to avoid cutting the vertical rebars nearest to the openings, and If I know exactly where they are, I might not have to drill any new long holes and install new rebar. I also have some basement window modifications to do.

Thousands of plastic bags... Also two backers for fibre-disks.
I only ordered on Wednesday so 10/10 to Flexipads for speed, but there must have been a better option than sending them in a gigantic box packed out almost entirely with plastic bags filled with more scrunched up plastic bags.

Glue emery cloth strips to both sides of 1/4 inch thick sticks smoothed all over soft wood the width of the cloth , make them a foot or so long and use them in safety like a file .
Be posh and put different grades on each side .

I went to Screwfix today and got some more stuff for the heat treatment oven build: some DIN rail, some cable glands, a pack of Wago connectors (which I've heard very good things about on here but have yet to try). Also (from Amazon) some DIN rail mounts for said Wago connectors. Still loads more to get and not much time now before the Christmas break, so I'll probably be placing some more orders over the weekend.

Most modern chucks I've tried to repair tend to have the top of the cylinder peened over by a burnishing style roller making it impossible to open them up .
Nec v302w projector for £20 at auction, turns out it was faulty so stripped it down and rechecked all connections/pesky ribbon cables and volia now working!
Amazing quality for a 2016 projector and thankfully hdmi input so no need for the 6" of adapters I used for the firestick into the 2006 vga projector I had!

Have to say Gorilla tape has been the best tape of it's type I've ever used. Sticks and stays stuck. Got some holding a protection pad in the trials car (Dutton kit car), with more holding a bit of visqueen over it to protect the pad from the weather. The car lives outside in all weathers, no roof, no doors, just holes in the floor to let the rain out - tape has been on two years now and still in good condition.
