however its been adapted as ive got a chain through the top and through the side of the machine

Eventually got it in to position...all steam cleaned and covered in wd40. Awaiting refurbishing...

Today i mostly was the new owner of this...No MOT so it was getting scrapped and it works 100% perfect. Ive had to black out the guy who sorted out the transaction for reasons that cant be disclosed before the 9 o'clock watershed

Got that wood home at last, got 5 splinters but no more insect bites.

All but one are dead straight, hopefully enough there for a drill stand, a sink stand and a new top for a workbench, just got to finish pulling the nails out, up to 206 so far.

. I'm terrible for wood hording. Had to build a new shed a few months back just for wood. 2.4m x 4.8m all the 5x2 and 18mm hardwood ply was saved from a skip from a flat roof I replaced before Xmas. All I had to buy was tar paper feather edge and roof felt. Gonna need another shed soon

Do you need an MOT?

I salvaged a load of mahogany door frames and posts from an old factory - they were in a skip - some pieces are 10' long - way too good to throw away!

No need for a mug for scale for 2 reasons.
1: It has a built in scale.

2: I am using the mug to drink coffee.

I have been hunting for a decent draw knife for a while.
Yes, I could of got a modern one, but the one I have brought the blade was made from monkey metal.

Ok, I need o turn up new handles, but that's a small price to pay for the draw knife.
The image does not show how wickedly sharp the edge is.
It has drawn blood already.
