Been hearing a lot of good things about recycled compressed plastic fence posts, but they're probably pricey for a long run.
The kind of thing that might be quite affordable for a short garden run.

The short one are good from what I've seen, have you heard much about the straining posts? I'd like to know if the creep and bend over time and leave the fence slack.

I've a couple of hundred metres of deer fence to do soon.

Ive notice a fair few places where they have used Clipex fencing, pricey but will last, loads of it down the cumbria end of the M6.

I edited the first post, the gun section never powered up, so exchanged it. Though warehouse is in England, responses to emails were all around 4:00 am in poor English, some with Chinese Characters, so still dealing with China. At least they posted the replacement before I had posted the faulty one back.

Once I have had a proper play, I will do a review.

Would be intersting to run that through a power meter plug so you can see what power its using.
I run my DC one through an amp/power meter, and is very useful for getting the coil size and best heating for an item, also to avoid over loading it.

keep thinking of getting one after seeing Alan Millard bending some handle bars with one, very useful if you don't have gas axe or in a no flame work environment

Just home from a seafood meal out with family and had a nice big tub of locally caught prawns and squat lobsters left on my doorstep by a fisherman neighbour.

The Cullen skink then scallops mornay in Tarbert went down well too:

A MIC stirrup pump, allegedly rated to 6000 Chinese PSI!
Blanked off it held 3000 (indicated) for 30mins which is what I need, so that will do.
Not bad construction and finish to be fair.

Well today was a bit of a bonus day, lots of toys. This stuff you just buy it when you get the opportunity, especially if the guy was talented. Which this guy was, clearly.
