I saw this last year, again in March and today I asked about it. The site Manager told me it was the sites, but they could not use it any more as no one was trained on that model.
So they had one on lease hire and the staff were trained on the new pallet truck.


I asked if I could have it.

I was told no. But I left my details, just in case.
Today I got a call: "Hay Mr TYA, it is yours, collect it."

Turns out it is no longer listed as a site asset and there fore has bean disposed off.

It has now.

I donated to the sites coffee boat.

It is now in a nice warm barn, making friends.

Previously had to do 30mns driver training with said instructor ,to drive the works transit, He told me how to overtake , reverse and use my mirrors ,i can now add his certificate to my pile along with my HGV class 1 & EFAD emergency fire appliance driving. LOL

Some nobs at my college broke one trying to lift a full skip with one.

Some nobs at the college where i used to work tried to move an ex Fords production robot on one, It went down a drain & got badly stuck. They said "Its not that heavy" Then i pointed out the plate on the side that said Gross Weight 2000Kgs, Wonder they never killed anyone. Took me an afternoon with jacks wedges & rollers to get it out of the drain, out of the way & chock it safely. Proper good earner that was!

Got this to day for a project with my kids back wheel stuck half the bits not working brakes knacard but cost of 10 he had me working on it when I got home for 2 hours got the back wheel un stuck and the tank out will put in nee fuel line and clean carb i need more hours in the day

I have a new to me saw, no picture as I have only just got home and and it's still wrapped up on my trailer, just stuffed it in the lockup for now.

Fortunately I have made some room in the garage for it so will drag it up here in the next day or 2

My mum had a job cleaning in a school, official job title 'Floor Technician'. She was shown how to use a floor polisher & she said at the start it was a struggle but once she got the hang of it she could drive it with one hand! There were other cleaners that were there years that still couldn't manage it.

What the heck was it?, the heaviest industrial robot I've seen was 1000kgs.

Im not sure, it came out of the dagenham works about 4 years ago in size it wasnt unlike a six inch gun, main arm was about 8" dia & 10ft long, No alloy on it all serious steel, heavy cast iron base, the counterweight on the back of it was half a ton on its own. College were going to use it as a display piece but forgot the scrotes would use it as a climbing frame! In the end it got scrapped before someone hurt themselves on it.

Another to add to my collection of vices. A nice little Woden that looks as though it lived in a paint factory. Despite the gung and rust it's in very good order. It has been added to my list of tuits that seems to be getting ever longer. The sooner I can move and get a decent workshop, the better.

Todays find, yes I need 1 part.
The rest is a nice to have.

The bit I wanted is the front plane handle.

The rest, the 20 file/tool handles and the blade are nice.

Oh yes, OCD alert.
I have given 1 away, 20 handles, can any one see the other one?

The handles holes don't fit any tools shafts in shop, they are defective and badly made.
The blade is meant to be from a spoke shave, but the shop had it as a plane blade.
