My garage / workshop is the opposite of the tardis it's smaller on the inside than it is on the outside, we all would wish the opposite, anyway TARDIS= time and relative dimensions in space. Anyone else admitting to it?

Struck lucky again at last nights auction.

Starrett bi-metal hole saw set, all but 1 still sharp & in an undamaged plastic case. £2

Parweld 3m euro torch, I think it's an type 15. £5

The entire internals of a mig welder, I think it's from a Clarke as 2 of the transformers have 'Clarke A195' written on them. There's also a new parweld argon reg & a good earth clamp. All for £32!

As a bonus I found these in with the welder parts - a carbide burr & spares for the parweld torch!

The rake tidied up really nicely. A go over with 120 grit sandpaper to loosen the rust but not dig into the patina, then a good coat of oil to stabilise it.

Today I'm acquiring a ride on the back of a lorry. Low fuel and sucked some crap up from the sounds of it. Got off the m1 filled her up. Started first time. 30 seconds down the road she died. Joy. Was going in the garage for a service next week too.

Lie the rake, I always lie the loo of a round head screw holding the iron the wood.
But that's me.

If you dissolve bee's wax into white spirit until you get a watery gel type mix that does as well to keep the tool looking nice.

Plus the wood likes it as well.

this part i bought hopping i could turn it into a milling head or adapt it to do so

its 10" long with a 6" aluminum body with bearings and a steel bar shaft is 16mm wide bolt side is the bearings are 1 7/8"

Acquired a bit more organisation and something that resembles a bench underway. Diagonal braces to go in the top still. Brace all the way across the back legs and front to back between the three pairs. Top will be 9x2 c16 covered with 18mm structural ply.
