It's a Mercer large face dial gauge, it just needed a bit of oil and the needle securing in place.

I have just taken purchase to this beast..all works..have to watch the recoil on the pull cord as it's got some serious compression. ..could do with a refurbishment. .

Today i returned s horse box stock traier i had repaired, in exchange for an alpaca,

We have 4, the one with the weird hair style like gary glitter, is called specsavers, it was the right hand baby we got for fixing the horse box as her mother died. They were being used as fox guards during lambing.

It doesn't fall into the free aquisiton category but it was so cheap ,a Startrite 301 band saw in full working order and very good condition,1hpmotor,fence mitre gauge and circle cutting attachment all for £30 ☺, and it's on a factory stand as well,

I have very happy memories of the Mirror my Dad bought when I was a kid!

So do i, then i bought one for me and my kids, 20 years later i sold it for 80 quid, as the tip wouldnt let me tip it.

They are prone to rot where the edge of the ply sits between the gunwale. Other places too, but still a good little sail boat, often see used sails and bits quite cheaply

At least twice the size..it's a gt40 diesel turbo off a scania lorry...they use them alot on the mercedes 300 td engine for drifting. .not that I want to drift mine.but opening the bonnet and seeing that monster sitting there on a custom manifold does have some appeal to it....
