Our place is run by people like this, a few weeks ago I spotted about 20 5c collets, some Morse taper adapters, plus some sockets and other bits and pieces in the skip, so a quick dive later they were in my sticky mitts, but when I asked for permission to remove them from site the miserable gits said no and didn't give a reason for refusal. If I had removed them it would end up as P45 time.

Years back i used to pick a mate up from work and they had new benches and tools, The roll on skips were being filled with benches vices lathes pedastal grinder and pillar drills, When i asked they said they had to scrap them as they might be electrically dangerous?? I offerred money and phoned up the day after, The man in charge said point blank they had to be sent for scrap...It was part of Lucas...are they still in business? Still makes me angry lol

Anyway..Today i got an early xmas gift the halfords 200 piece tool kits and modular trays with extensions and impact sockets..Trade card is on fire at the moment. I found you can split the tool tray in 2 and slice a bit off and each half goes in a drawer.

I have seen TRW around and know ZF, I hope that stuff ended up at a scrap yard and was quickly sold as working items.

In-laws have just returned from a cruise round the Med. I have done that with grey funnel lines and did not think it would of changed much. I stayed at home.

But They have just left, but they came baring gifts, left without.
Wife got some new cooking spices, means I can cook again.
Mini Me got a good few meters of cloth to make outfits.

Bristish made Leytool, 3/4AF square drive. A long way from home in a Naples market.
It is home and in playpen.

Odd it is a square drive, seen hex drives ones. But this has a Pat applied for stamp as well.
Any one know about finding out about Pat applied for numbers?

Excellent! I bought one second-hand about 10 years ago and it's still going strong. One of the few chairs I can sit in for long periods without aggravating my dodgy back.

Nice metal box with a few bits in it.


Draper Expert 10" extension bar , looks almost new!

Paramo tennon saw, tried it last night and it cuts a treat.
All £1 each!

Looks like an easy-out. Whatever you do, don't over-tension them, they will snap and then you'll have a broken bolt and a broken easy out stuck in the bolt. They work with a tap wrench.

Good for getting knackered ball oilers out of machines I've found. Knock it in with a hammer, twist and pull.

They are fine for getting things out that are not seized in. Snapped bolts however tend to be snapped because they are seized and trying to then get out with an easyout is futile in most cases.
