Hope you continue to enjoy collecting the "made in England " Britool, something i have done for year's..... its fun, enjoyable and rewarding.... too easy to walk into a tool shop with a cheque book.... but to find Britool... a joy....Son has been collecting old Britool socket sets since he found an immaculate 1/4 drive 1950's one at a Flea Market for £5!!!
He found this miles away in Cornwall, luckily he was a very nice bloke who had had it 50 odd years, he even parcelled it up and I arranged a carrier, arrived today and lads over the moon, never seen another and its complete bar two easy to find sockets and even has a few extra bits in it.
We think its early 60s as it has the remains of the crackle paint finish and is suffixed "A" after the set number
