Re- acquired, My dads shoe last he had most of his life till the BIL "borrowed" it for a display item.
I collect paraffin / petrol lamps and stoves
@GW8IZR any chance of some pictures of those, perhaps a new thread in the Brew room? I too have a soft spot for the old lamps and stoves, that is my primary hobby with around 150 lamps to my name, and I haven't counted but a similar amount of stoves. Would be interesting to see what you have and if any other members have any kicking around in their shed. You show me yours, I'll show you mine.
Like an over sexed glowormwhat's the torch ever ready or pifco there useless
so did I . someone else's dad found out and gave me a good hiding@brightspark
It is Everready. I now they are useless. I had one as a kid.
Today in the bad weather I was driving along a A road. Snow was banked up either side.
But I spotted something that was not white, looking sad.
I had to stop, walk back and investigate.
What did I find?
What jewel of a find?
What great item of interest?
Not a tool, nowt to do with engineering at all.
