I am certainly getting my monies worth on the Stanley all stainless 1.9 Ltr flask. Life time no quibble warranty, In the nearly twenty years I have owned it the THIRD brand new replacement just arrived today, I inspect it regularly and stainless liner had a couple of small discoloured spots, Sent it off to stanley each time, And in about a week a new one turns. No silly questions, like where did you buy it and have you got the receipt. Just common sense good service, (P.S. and you even get to keep the cup and stopper as spares from your old one)

I buy ikea ss flasks. About 3 quid and replace em as needed. Have 2 or 3 in weekly use.
Still mouth burning hot at the end of the day.

I have a Papermate biro & propelling pencil set, bought as a present by my ex maaany years ago. "Lifetime Warranty" they said. I'm now on [iirc] my 6th set as the 'gold' coating wears off due, I think, to the acid (?) in sweat.

I just post them back and a few weeks later a new set arrives.

I'm also on my 3rd Stanley flask, they are pure rubbish. It's really annoying when you look forward to a steaming mug of tea on a cold day & the water in the flask is cold!

Today I acquired...

Rather fortiously this popped up on my Facebook feed, even though I've never used 'marketplace' before, so for a 100mile round trip through the beautiful Angus Glens I bought this for the princely sum of £30; an old yet boxed Record bench vice that had never been used or fitted - made in Sheffield:

Also got round to mounting an old Keetona K1 shear on a solid yet mobile base - I don't see a need for tinsnips:

I happen to have a Keetona K3 too but that just sits in a corner and absorbs light and attracts smaller objects.
