I would say thats it, I am off to a garage in the morning that has about 10 and they are having a rewire...I hope they want rid of the old lamps.

They’re meant to take a 150w bulb, with led bulbs they work beautifully, loads of light!

Grandkids have gone home so fixing up the elgamo68 air rifle, a bullpup so, ahead of its time.
A 50 year old rifle for free so not bad. Internals done, I need to make a forestock, the butt is just plastic parts.

I came away with a load of F-clamps, dearest loaf I have bought for a while but the clamps aren't much short of Bessey quality for a quarter of the price so had to be done, I bought four a while ago wished I had bought more, now I have
Thanks for the heads-up on the clamps; bought a half-dozen of them on Saturday morning and put them to use this evening - cheers!

There's a huge old railway works near me that is due for demolition, there are probably a hundred of the big 24 ." ones in there, but the roof is 20 foot high and falling in, so no chance of salvage. Place is a death trap.

I have to ask. Why do you have a scaffold tower then?
On about those, that's another area where H&S screws things up. Mobile towers aren't exactly the most obliging things for handballing large, heavy items up, but if you stick to the PASMA regs, tasks like that become nigh on impossible, because then the guard rails get in the way. So, if you go on a site which requires one to be PASMA qualified, for some tasks, you can't actually do your work without risk of losing your cert. Rock & a hard place.
