I have Eosinophilic Oesophagitis (try saying that after 5 pints...even medics struggle to spell/say it..) basically when I'm exposed to allergens etc my throat swells part closed and I get difficulties swallowing and induces coughing fits...
So the less I expose myself to the better, plus after sparkying for a couple of years and crawling through old lofts and underfloors who kinows what I've breathed in...know its something nasty as the unpronounceable above really kicked in during that time...
my old at one job was working paintshop supervisor (a way to give him responsibilities without having to pay him properly.... :/ ) and used to have a go at the other painters for spraying without a mask or worse spraying 2K with a cartridge mask / monkey mask...rather than an airfed visor...

It says it's polyester, so the styrene will be long gone. I suspect it will be a solid block by now.

i seen one on a random search the other night, and once or twice since, its not dear at 10 or 20 quid odd posted iirc but i couldnt dream up any reason to have it tbh.

I just sold one for next door for £35.

its very usefull the scrap cable stripper I made needed to be about 80 rpm so I set it up on the miller drive with belt and pulleys and clocked its speed -before I bough the correct ones for it ive just changed it to geared motor and chain drive and had to clock the speed again . so been very usefull

I've got one of them too. They're more reliable than the contactless ones IMO. I use it to check motors are the right speed, and for setting up dad's stationary engines.

My friend used it during his apprenticeship to check the speed of motors. That was a long time ago too.

I acquired a magnehelic gauge;

Apparently they have them outside the pharmacy clean rooms at the hospital. Not sure what I'm gonna do with it.

I also acquired a hangover.
